Tetra4 (Pty) Ltd has appointed Environmental Impact Management Services (EIMS) as the Environmental Assessment Practitioner to manage the application and relevant assessments in support of an Environmental Authorisation and public participation processes for its proposed Cluster 2 expansion project in the Free State Province. Spanning approximately 27 500 hectares across the Masilonyana and Matjhabeng Local Municipalities, this project follows the 2022 commencement of Cluster 1 gas production. To efficiently identify future drilling locations on specific properties, Tetra4 proposes conducting a 3D seismic survey over the area, which will generate a high-resolution subsurface geological profile to clearly visualise gas placement beneath the surface.
