Peaking Power Plants for the Department of Minerals and Energy (IPP's) in Kwa-Zulu Natal and Port Elizabeth

Full EIA's were recently conducted for the new Independant Power Producer (IPP) open cycle gas turbine peaking power plants for the Department of Mineral and Energy. The included extensive public consultation and involvement processes and numerous detailed specialist investigations. Positive Records of Decision were issued for these facilities by the National Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
