Shareholding and Ownership

EIMS is 100% owned by Teboho Nkhahle a black previously disadvantaged individual, rendering the firm fully empowered in terms of the Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) legislation. Teboho Nkhahle is also the Managing Director of EIMS. 

 

Employment Equity

The firm practices active affirmative action in its staffing policies and is proactively aimed at redressing the imbalances of the past. The current levels of black staffing at different tiers of the company structure are indicated below.

EIMS takes it’s role of environmental advisor extremely seriously and where possible focuses our attention on capacity building initiatives and philanthropic actions. During 2003, the group sponsored the production of educational material for the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s “Ecowarrior” programme, which conducts environmental education programmes in primary schools in previously disadvantaged areas.
