EIMS is 60% owned by Teboho Nkhahle a black previously disadvantaged individual. Teboho Nkhahle is also the Managing Director of EIMS.

The firm practices active affirmative action in its staffing policies and is proactively aimed at redressing the imbalances of the past. EIMS takes its role of environmental advisor extremely seriously and where possible focuses our attention on capacity building initiatives and philanthropic actions. During 2003, the group sponsored the production of educational material for the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s “Ecowarrior” programme, which conducts environmental education programmes in primary schools in previously disadvantaged areas.
